About the Pastor

Meet Pastor Daniel Mbiye

Pastor Daniel Mbiye is the founder of Penuel Tabernacle in Melville, Johannesburg. Called by God at a young age, he carried a deep burden in his heart from his early teenage years, though at the time he did not yet understand that this burden was the calling of the Lord to the ministry. He received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in the early hours of the morning on 28 February 2004 during a Holy Ghost meeting, and was later baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Acts 10:44–48 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

And he commanded them to be baptized in the Name of the Lord.

On 9 August 2009, the Lord revealed to him a calling to the work of an Evangelist (2 Timothy 4:1–4), aligning his ministry with the end-time conditions described in 2 Timothy 3.

Penuel Tabernacle was established on 26 October 2014 in Westbury and now continues to grow in Melville. Pastor Daniel remains committed to the flock which the Lord has made him overseer, preaching the Gospel as revealed by God’s Prophet-Messenger, William Marrion Branham, and shepherding God’s people with grace, humility, and unwavering faith.

1 Peter 5:2–3 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
